Compressed Air Ultrasonic Leak Testing

Within the CMRS energy conservation package we have the ability and capacity to carry out ultrasonic leak testing on all pipework installations in order to identify potential leaks, which are obviously a high cost loss with regards to energy. Where you have pipework as much as 30 ft in the air, which is not readily accessible for conventional leak testing, then our ultrasonic leak testing packages are able to assess the leakage loss from ground level at any height, and detail every hazardous energy loss area. The leakage loss report is then equated into energy cost loss and submitted to the appropriate companies, in most cases should a company put its own maintenance program together based on the results of the leakage loss identification, the cost loss comes down sufficiently to actually finance an extra maintenance man for the purpose of addressing leaks throughout the factory, this would be of course a large factory.

CMRS have the facility where necessary to test the cleanliness and purity of air particularly when used in the food processing industry or the spraying industry under current legislation, the emission laws are so sensitive that regular testing of all breathing air equipment and spray booth equipment is a regular feature. Compressed Air Energy Saving Programs

CMRS within their compressed air energy saving programs provide a full and accurate assessment via data logging equipment to inquire as to whether a compressed air system is running at its highest energy efficiency levels. In 90% of the cases where these data logging assessments are carried out, i.e. compressed air produced linked directly to energy used and an internal link to production costs, can be identified accurately with these systems. The running cost results usually provide a guaranteed return on a greater utilization of the equipment based on the results from the data logging exercise. CMRS can provide very sophisticated electronically controlled panels, which within themselves have an intelligence to work out which are the best compressors to use in which application and which are the most cost effective compressors to run during any changeable production cycle.
